Detailed Description
The Valcom Model
V-33085AM-CL2 is a heavy duty, field proven high reliability, free
standing coil-loaded 85-foot whip antenna for maritime, aviation and
AM applications. The second section is inductively loaded to the
resonant frequency as specified by the customer. Sold the world over
since 1985.
Notable Applications
Originally designed
to the stringent requirements of the Canadian Department of
Transportation for fixed non-directional radio beacon service, it is
now employed around the world in many applications.
Notable
applications are high efficiency coast station requirements in the
540 KHz to 1700 KHz bands for marine and aeronautical radio beacon
and communicating systems.
The V33085AM-CL2 has been tested and
proven to meet FCC field strength requirements for frequencies of
1200 KHz or higher. |
